The students of the school participate in various Inter School and Intra School Competitions where they not only prove their mettle but also act as tough competitors to the other participants.

In APS curriculum is built around (3 B'S ) Belonging, Being and Becoming.

The expected learning outcomes are :

  • Children have a strong sense of identity.
  • Children are connected with and contribute to their society.
  • Children are confident and learn things creatively.
  • Children are prepared to step confidently into the society.

Most of the research has proved that the experiences that children get in their early years (between 3 & 6 years) actually determine their attitude and confidence level in their later years. Children grasp quickly during their initial years.

All classrooms are very spacious and equipped with the latest tools and toys that are needed to impart knowledge to the tiny tots. A special curriculum is also designed for young kids that focuses on most of the areas of child development such as cognitive, socio- emotional, physical, linguistic and creative skills.

GRADE I - XII

  • In keeping with the framework drafted by the National Policy of Education, the curriculum is designed to build a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy in our students. The medium of instruction is English and language options are Hindi or Tamil.
  • A fully equipped math lab has also been set upto make the learning process meaningful and interesting.
  • A student is introduced to continuous assessment from Grade I which promotes alertness, creativity, application skills and logical reasoning in their regular approach and learning process.
  • The entire syllabus is tested through assessments in two Terms, one in September, and the other in March. Periodic tests throughout the semesters are conducted to keep the students abreast of the lessons covered. Grades are awarded on an eight-point scale in keeping with the norms of CBSE. Application based questions are incorporated in testing.
  • English Core is compulsory
