G, of Grade IV has delivered an outstanding performance at the Tamil Nadu State Level Syloth Silambam Competition 2025-2026 held on February 28, 2026. Luxsurya secured the FIRST POSITION in the Syloth - Silambam event (35-39 kg Category).   • Educational Visit to Raj Bhavan, Chennai We are delighted to share that our Grade IX students had the wonderful opportunity to visit Raj Bhavan, Chennai, as part of their educational enrichment programme. Raj Bhavan, the official residence of the Governor of Tamil Nadu, stands as a symbol of heritage, governance, and environmental preservation. The visit offered students a rare opportunity to explore this historically significant campus and gain firsthand exposure to its cultural and administrative importance. During the visit, students explored several prominent locations within the campus, including: Herbal Garden Nursery Garden Bharathiar Mandapam The Main Lawn Presidential Suite Lakshmi Garden Silver Jubilee Garden Raj Bhavan Premises One of the major highlights of the visit was the guided battery-car tour, which enabled students to comfortably explore the expansive and beautifully maintained gardens. Two Officers on Special Duty (OSD) accompanied the group and provided detailed explanations about the history, architecture, administration, and ecological significance of the premises. A particularly memorable experience was witnessing the free-roaming deer and blackbucks within the campus. This unique interaction deepened students’ understanding of wildlife conservation and the importance of maintaining ecological balance in heritage spaces. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Kalyanasundaram, OSD to the Hon’ble Governor, for his warm hospitality and for facilitating such an enriching and well-organised visit. The experience significantly enhanced students’ knowledge of governance, heritage conservation, environmental awareness, and civic responsibility.   • 16-04-2025 - We are delighted to share that today, 16/04/2025, An In-class Summer Fun-filled Activities took place successfully! The event aimed to educate our students about summer and the importance of maintaining their health during this vibrant season. The activities designed for each grade were both engaging and educational, fostering creativity and team spirit among the students: - Grade V: Our students participated in Speech and Slogan Writing, where they expressed their thoughts on summer, demonstrating their communication skills and creativity. - Grade IV: The Creative Poster Making session allowed Grade IV students to visually represent their understanding of summer health, showcasing their artistic talents while learning about summer wellness. - Grade III: The Show and Tell activity was a hit, with students presenting various Summer Foods, Fruits, Juices, and Salads.   • 15-04-2025 : Adhithya Public School marked a momentous occasion today with great enthusiasm and fervor as it celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti, honoring the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution. The special assembly, organized by students of Grades 10 and 12, was a testament to the school’s commitment to promoting social justice and equality. The assembly featured thought-provoking speeches in English, Tamil and Hindi delivered by students who paid tribute to Dr. Ambedkar s remarkable life and achievements. The speeches highlighted his tireless efforts in fighting for social justice and equality, inspiring the audience to follow in his footsteps. The highlight of the assembly was the mock interview with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, where insightful questions were asked to gain a deeper understanding of his vision for a just and equitable society. This interactive segment brought the students closer to the legacy of Dr. Ambedkar and encouraged them to think critically about social issues. The assembly concluded with the students taking an Oath to strive for equality and justice, echoing Dr. Ambedkar’s message of social harmony and inclusivity. Following the assembly, students from grades 6 to 12 participated in a class activity where they wrote slogans on the theme Dr. Ambedkar as a Champion of Equality and Justice.   • 13.03.2025 - We are excited to inform you that, today of our students from grade IX and XI visited the Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET) as part of their educational field trip accompanied by our Science teacher Mrs. A. Amuthavalli. During the visit, they had the opportunity to get the awareness about UG and PG courses offered by AMET. Students explored various laboratories and went on a campus visit to the world of maritime education and training, which significantly enriched their learning experience.

  • 09.01.2025 - Students secured I prize in NIOT :: We are delighted to inform you that the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) is celebrating 150 years of dedicated service to the Nation. As a part of this milestone, the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) collaborated with IMD’s Regional Center in Chennai to organize an Awareness Program on 09th January 2025. Eleven of our students from Grades VIII- XI accompanied by our science teacher Mrs. A. Amuthavalli, participated in this enriching program, showcasing their enthusiasm and creativity. We are proud to share that five of our students participated as a team in the Poster Making Competition and secured the 1st Prize, bringing laurels to the school. The winners are as follows: 1. To honor this milestone, NIOT is collaborating with IMD’s Regional Center in Chennai to organize an Awareness Program. Fifteen students from grade VIII-IX of our school are going to participate in the awareness program and quiz competition on 09/01/25 at National Institute of Ocean Technology, Chennai. This will be an unique opportunity for students to learn about advancements in ocean, climate sciences and interact with professionals in these fields.

  • 11th December 2024: Celebration of Tamil Nadu Governments Silver Jubilee of Thiruvalluvar Statue - 14th December 2024 We are pleased to inform you that, as part of the Silver jubilee celebration of the Thiruvalluvar Statue at Kanyakumari, the Government of Tamil Nadu has planned to organize a series of competitions in all schools across the state on 14th December 2024. We are delighted to announce that our school will also participate in this grand event by hosting various competitions for students. The objective of this celebration is to honor the timeless contributions of Thiruvalluvar and to inspire students to imbibe the values and teachings from the Thirukkural. We are pleased to inform you that our school has celebrated the birth anniversary of the great Tamil poet and freedom fighter, Mahakavi Subramania Bharathiyar, in our school campus. This celebration aims to honor his contributions to Tamil literature, patriotism, and social reform, while also inspiring students to imbibe his values of courage, knowledge, and equality. Students delivered speech on the life, achievements, and ideologies of Bharathiyar and recited Bharathiyars powerful poems that continue to resonate with themes of freedom, self-respect, empowerment and also presented songs written by Bharathiyar to reflect his passion for music, literature, and patriotism. The event focused on the theme Culture of Integrity for Nations Prosperity. Our students demonstrated exceptional dedication and creativity during the program. The day commenced with students reciting the Preamble of the Constitution, a profound moment that highlighted the significance of our democratic values and principles. In addition to the recitation, we held engaging quiz and debate competitions centered around the Constitution.   • 11th NOV 2024 : We are delighted to share the success of our student, VT Nithish Kumar of GRADE IX, who has made us proud by participating in the District Level Silambam Competition conducted by Thaai Silambam Academy. The event took place at Sree Iyappa MHSS, Sholinganallur, where Nithish Kumar competed in the 48 kg weight category and showcased his skills impressively. We are thrilled to announce that he achieved 2nd place in the FIGHT category and 3rd place in the OTTRAI KAMBU event.   • 24 SEPTEMBER 2024 : We are delighted to inform you that today our Adhithians visited the Chennai Science Festival-2024 at B.M. Birla Planetarium and had a highly enriching experience. Students from Grade VII to XI took part in the event and visited with the teachers and explored a variety of 70 stalls, learning about diverse scientific concepts. They also enjoyed a spectacular laser show organized by the Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Department and observed detailed reactor models exhibited by the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research.

Their swift movements were a ballet of controlled power. Golden, silver and bronze trophies were bagged along with the Overall Championship Trophy. We got an opportunity to welcome the mobile hub of the Environmentalist Foundation of India (E.F.I.) in Adhithya Public school and conducted the awareness program to our students on 12th January 2024.The volunteers Mr.Siva S Babu and Mr. Sri Krishan educated the students about the importance of water conservation and the delicate balance of aquatic ecosystems.🐬🐙🦢 The Lake on Wheels Awareness program not only focused on the ecological aspects but also highlighted the impact of human activities on water bodies.The volunteers explained the social issues in detail with visual representation that created a soul stirring impact on students. 😊😇
