APS
The Pattern of Curriculum
Adhithya Public School follows CBSE-Syllabus and provides curriculum of learning as recommended by National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) in accordance with the norms of CBSE. The children are encouraged to be independent, thereby developing their critical thinking and problem-solving capability. Activity-based approaches are adapted to make learning an enjoyable part of the Student’s life.

Pre-Kinder Garten
APS follows a unique teaching methodology of Child-Centred Approach, meeting the various needs of the child in Pre-KG. This integrated method neither imposes upon the child nor does it abandon him/her in total free play. It focuses on reinforcement of senses, hands on activities, theme-based learning, human values and so on. Learning takes place through playing, listening, observation, questioning, reflection and exploration. Body movements, signing, painting, reciting, and watching educational videos are everyday activities.

Competitive Examination / Olympiad
Formalized on a large scale, the competitive examination is relatively recent phenomena in the long history of education. National and International Level Olympiads play a vital role in the learning process of a child in a global market. The contents and the preparations of these examinations emphasize application oriented learning in the longer run.
Though the syllabus remains the same as of their Text Books, the students of APS are trained to answer these examinations which require the alternative way of thinking. Thus, Olympiads help students to gain additional knowledge, a way to answer and to build confidence.
APS has initiated Students’ participation in National Science Olympiads, National Geographic Olympiads, National Cyber Olympiads, National Mathematics Olympiads and has set the notion for their participation in International Olympiads too.
